PE: Burns with blue/yellow flame, little smoke, drips, paraffin odor.
 
PP: Similar to PE, may have black smoke, petroleum smell.
 
PA/Nylon: Self-extinguishing, blue/yellow flame, drips, burns wool/nail odor.
 
PS/ABS: Yellow flame, black smoke, soot, styrene smell (PS), distinct odor (ABS).
 
PC: Slow burning, self-extinguishing, fruity smell.
 
PMMA: Blue flame, fruity/rotten odor.
 
PVC: Self-extinguishing, green/yellow flame, white smoke, pungent odor, may form strings.
 
HIPS: Less glossy, brittle, orange flame, black smoke, faint smell.
 
GPPS: Transparent, brittle, similar to HIPS.
 
ABS: Glossy, strong, burns easily, drips, rubbery odor.
 
PP: Floats, soft, blue/yellow flame, petroleum smell.
 
PE: Softer than PP, drips, paraffin odor.
 
POM: Brittle, self-burning, blue flame, pungent toxic fumes.
 
PA: Tough, waxy feel, self-extinguishing, burnt wool smell.
 
PMMA: High transparency, easy to machine.
 
PC: Hard, transparent, self-extinguishing, yellow flame.
 
K Material: Soft, transparent, burns like HIPS.
 
KRATON: Similar to PVC but soft when chilled.
